CULTURAL HUMILITY TRAINING

was developed in 1998 by two female physicians
Melanie Tervalon and Jann Murray-Garcia
to guide medical education.
An evolution of cultural competence,
it is an approach that takes into consideration
who you are, your experiences, how you live in the world
and how you view the world through your own identity.
